Overview
FIFA 18 is the 25th installment of the FIFA franchise. The longstanding FIFA Ultimate Team, Player/Manager Career and Online Seasons modes are all included. Additionally "The Journey", FIFA's story-based career simulator, makes a return for it's second year. Cristiano Ronaldo stars on the cover for FIFA 18.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Ultimate Team is the popular, card-based mode where players can buy and sell footballer cards to build a fantasy squad used to compete in online and offline modes. Squad Building Challenges, Champions Weekend League, Draft tournaments and Online Seasons are all available as modes from the previous year.
New Mode: Squad Battles
Squad Battles is a new single-player mode offered in FIFA Ultimate Team. Over the course of a week, players challenge curated squads for points based on difficulty and performance. Rewards are given out based on the points earned.
New Card: Icons
With the departure of "Legends" players, FIFA brings in a collection of historically significant football stars, known in the game as Icons. Notable Icons include Ronaldo Nazário, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Pelé and many others.
