2000:1: A Space Felony is a humorous homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey
2000:1: A Space Felony (Or How I Came To Value My Life And Murder Mercilessly) is a murder mystery set aboard the USS Endowment. National Insecurities has pushed forward their narrative and graphical bone fides with 2000:1: A Space Felony after their debut Disorient On The Murder Express.
The player, who is sent to investigate what happened on the ship after communication is severed, uses a camera to document the evidence aboard the USS Endowment. Once you have collected all of your evidence, it is presented in courtroom style fashion to get to the bottom of what happened on the ship and how, MAL, the ship's AI might have been behind what occurred.
The game is an obvious homage to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
