Twinfold is a game about maneuvering and positioning. In Twinfold, numbered tiles shift around a 5x5 grid (constructed with walls and pits), combining to form larger numbered tiles when they slide into each other. The player is a "Hero" tile that attempts to collect the numbered tiles to earn XP that can be spent on abilities.
"Monster" tiles move toward the player on each turn and attack when adjacent but can also attack other Monsters. When the Hero or Monster bump into a wall, they also lose a pip of health. Every time the player combines two number tiles or the Hero slides into a number tile, the walls and pits in the dungeon shuffle around.
The goal is to survive as many rounds as possible while powering up your Hero and facing ever-increasingly tough Monsters.
