Democracy 4 is a complex political strategy game set in the modern day, where the player acts as president or prime minister of real world countries such as the UK or USA.
The game is a 2D abstract-interface game that has a unique UI that represents the relationships between roughly 2,000 AI-voters and a set of voter categories (socialist, motorist, liberal etc), and policies (income tax, education policy etc) and situations.
Democracy 4 is turn-based, with each turn lasting three months of game time. The challenge of the game is to improve society (with what that exactly means being left up to the player), and also avoid being assasinated or voted out of office in the elections.
