    Characters

Players start out with either an Autobot side consisting of Optimus Prime, Wheeljack and Jazz or a Decepticon side, consisting of Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream.  They are soon joined by, Rodimus Prime, Arcec, Kup, Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourage.  Other Transformers are unlocked as the story progresses.  On the Autobot side, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Hound, and the Trainbots.  On the Decepticon side Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Shockwave, and Sixshot.

    Story

The story takes place on the planet Zel.  The Autobots are looking for an Autobot team that had gone to look for a UFO.  The Decepticons are there and the Autobots defend the planet from them.  Then Rodimus Prime, Arcee and Kup show up from the future, explaining that they must stop the Decepticons from finding the crystal Zel Quartz.  With the crystal, Shockwave has unlimited power and has been on a killing rampage in the futrue.  Galvatron and his Decepticons have also traveled back in time to get the Zel Quartz.
