    Wii Wheel

    Accessory »

The Wii Wheel is a plastic shell that makes using the Wii Remote feel more like a steering wheel. The Wii Wheel was packaged with Mario Kart Wii and could also be bought separately.

    Short summary describing this accessory.

The Wii Wheel is an add-on for the Wii Remote, intended for use with racing games that use a sideways "steering wheel" configuration. It does not add any functionality to the Wii Remote, but tries to recreate the feel of holding a real steering wheel. It has a hole on the back to pass the wrist strap and one on its left to avoid any interference between the controller and the Wii.

The Wii Wheel is available as part of the Mario Kart Wii package, and can also be purchased separately. Although originally designed and packaged for use with Mario Kart Wii, it works with most Wii racing games that only require the Wii Remote to be held sideways to play. There are other Wii steerring wheels out there made by third party companies but the Wii Wheel is the official Nintendo product
