Some people believe this may not be for the Wii, though most websites have stuck it on their Wii section and 1UP claims they even know it's being released by Ubisoft (again) for the Wii. In any case, even if they announce it's for another platform, I'm still happy they're developing a sequel at all.

I didn't play the first, though I wanted to, but from what I heard the game could have used a couple more months of development time.

Ahh it's a awesome game Brukaoru, you should definitely get around to playing it!. It still remains one of the best games on Wii so far. It's a game that knows it's a videogame and celebrates that fact with glee. The few criticisms this game got were undue imo, when you realise this game embodies the spirit of Punk then you realise it does not give a flying fuck about it's technical limitations, in fact this game makes them apparent to all and mocks other games in doing so..

Confirmed for the Wii but the release date is scheduled for early 2010. January for the US, March or so for Europe. Damn. I guess we'll have to settle for the rest grand games for the duration of 2009. Hey, at least it's for the Wii and it will have enough development times to iron out any issues, unlike the original. Unless its scope is that much larger than life of course :)

Good to hear. While I never played it, I understand some of the problems with it were that the sandbox thing was pointless and that the graphics were bad (technically, not artistically). Hope they fix those up.
