The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
Renegade Kid's Dracula themed Wii game Son of Dragon has now been confirmed as canceled. However, the team are hard at work on a new untitled project, to be announced some time this year.
"The Renegade Kid team is hard at work on a new secret game, which will be announced in 2009. The entire team is extremely excited about our new title, and we look forward to sharing more information with you about it soon" -Renegade Kid
Shame, It would have been great to have seen a Dracula game on Wii, especially one with some Nosferatu style to it. I hope they resurrect the project in the future.
I don't think it was confirmed for Wii? Anyway, I'm sure whatever project they do will be great, even if it's not about Dracula anymore. As long as they don't go under, it's all good.
I had to look these guys up on the GB Wiki, and I haven't heard of either of their games. Still sucks to hear that a game was cancelled, though. No one likes hearing something like that...
They're a new-ish developer with only DS games so far, so if you don't have one that's natural. Their DS games both got lots of praise though, and it seems with good reason.
"Did we know anything about this game other than it had vampires in it?
If not, then I can't see it as a big loss."
Anything losing vampires is usually a ton of suckage.
*EDIT* I realized how pun-tacularly stupid that comment was after I typed it. I didn't even mean to say "suckage" with the possibility of a pun. What the FUCK is wrong with me? /shakeshead
