Hopefully, it retains the custom level/campaign aspect. The difference in visuals is kinda like going from Cave Story free to Cave Story WiiWare.

- Aether was originally slated to hit WiiWare, but project hurdles proved too difficult to overcome
- Nintendo requested Meat Boy to be brought to WiiWare
- Level design features side-scrolling areas, full-screen levels, and boss fights
- 100 levels including hidden areas, warps, and an expert chapter to be unlocked
- Co-op, versus and a four-player party mode are being worked on
- Level editor being considered
- 12 indie devs have given blessing to include their game characters as unlockable players in multiplayer modes. You’ll have to collect Band-Aids throughout the game to unlock them
- Hoping to have work completed on PC and WiiWare versions by the end of the year

Needs to be played to see what it's about though, play the flash game. It gets VERY HARD. Do the Hello World campaign first as it's tutorial-ish.

Yeah, it's really hard. It'd probably be better off on a console, though. I think half of my fuckups on the flash game is because I'm using a keyboard.

Played a little of it.  Seems like a less complex version of N/N+ gameplay-wise.  Do many more gameplay mechanics come into play later on in the game?  The controls don't feel as tight on a keyboard as N's did.

I wouldn't know, I suck at it. I hope wall jump is harder to fail in the Wii game, I keep missing it when it's a tricky spot :S

It will be fun to see the replay when i'll finish the first level and see red everywhere. I played a good amount of the flash game, it is insanely hard. Playing it with the wii remotes its d-pad will be great though. Wonder if i'll be able to play it with my Hori stick.
 
Better be sure that the wii-mote has its condom on, it might learn to fly with this game.

So long as they don't feel the need to incorporate motion controls, I'm sold.

Can somebody get me a link to the flash game? Anyway, looks kick ass.
