“Folks, it’s been a heck of a year, hasn’t it?” That sentence has been how I usually start these sale posts, but here, now, I feel like I can firmly state that it’s been a HECK of a year. Giant Bomb saw some friends leave, some friends return, and some new friends come aboard for some extra special friend-en-ing. We made new shows, brought on new contributors, and found all sorts of new fun! And then we had that fun together with you, I hope!
We’re still working on a lot of stuff around here, visible or otherwise: new content mixes, new edited Quick Looks (for when you don’t have time for a full “Quick” Look, am I right?), and new production schedules to keep you up to date with what’s going. It’s a lot of change! But what hasn’t changed and is still most important of all: we still need your support to help keep this place up and running!
It’s been almost 12 years since we started Giant Bomb Premium, and the basic gist of it hasn’t changed: you kick us some cash, we keep on trying to make cool stuff (without all those pesky ads). 💣I'll never give you bastards money! Note that we also now have a free trial system! If you start a free trial during the sale, you should get the sale price when your full membership kicks in, even if that happens after the sale is over.
💣I think I'm in love! Congrats! You should totally get your new soulmate a gift membership to Giant Bomb! Note that gift memberships are full-price during a sale, but you will get an extra few months of time if you buy during the sale. Unfortunately that's the way the new gift sub system works!
💣I renewed at full price! Most renewals during a sale week will go through at the full price with the store code. If you'd prefer to get the sale price, just go ahead and extend your membership during the sale and that'll be that! If you do renew at full price, just email us at support@giantbomb.com and don't use the store code; we can cancel it and refund the difference. It might take a couple of days to get back to you, though!
