It is pretty similar. A little easier actually.

F-Zero GX could use another iteration.

They are quite similar, but Wipeout has weapons added to the mix.

I havn't played a Wipeout game since Wipeout 3. I'm really excited about this one.

I've got a type-M and everything. I can pump out over 100 WPM on a good day. My fingers be like lightning. Sometimes I'll slam some fucking DEW's and write a short story so fast that my keyboard starts on fire so I have to stop! Not that fire harms Type-M's.

Wipeout sucks. Buy a game cube and F zero GX. It's cheaper, faster, and more EXTREME.

Ok not really, although I do prefer the sensation of speed in WIpeout, and the weapons available.

I like the airbrake system better than F-zero's steering and braking system. Also, it looks fucking insane on a 1080p tv if you take the cockpitview.
