I find the feel of the mouse to be way too fast and very floaty in this game even with a sensitivity of 0. Pretty sure they are forcing mouse acceleration.

Has anyone found a way to improve this?

I'm really enjoying the game but the mouse control is pretty distracting.

I had to force a lower DPI in my mouse drivers.

@dgtlty: God that sucks... I assume that was to address overall sensitivity, but not mouse acceleration - correct?

The latter is what *really* makes this game feel sloppy to me. I can live with a faster mouse as long as it's *consistently* fast, but acceleration really feels bad to me.

Ah well - it's single-player with no competitive element what so ever so it's not as frustrating as it would be in a PvP game. I'm really enjoying the story and world so far, just wish there was a way to fix the mouse feel.

Oh, hey, I actually totally found a decent solution: you can adjust the sensitivity via the console *much* more than via the controls GUI.

Console is opened with the standard ~ and the command is 'm_sensitivity #' where # is anything from (I think) 0.5 to 3. It defaults to 3 for whatever reason, so just knock it down a few pegs and your mouse gets *plenty* slow.

Playing with this a bit now to find the right setting for me, but even just the first few tests felt quite a bit better.
