So I bought Wolfenstein The New Order on a sale on PSN and boy, let me tell this game is freaking awesome. A game called Wolfenstein has no right to be this good. I played maybe a couple of hours of it and the shooting feels tight, the frame rate is locked at 60 and being able to dual wield an auto shotgun is every bit as awesome as it sounds.

But what surprised me the most is the writing. How the hell did they make a jarhead like B.J Blazkowicz so likable? It is a game with robot dogs and nazis going to the moon but it all feels very grounded and it is thanks to the characters, the voice acting and the writing, it is way better than anyone would expect from the series.

Welcome to the club. Glad you like it. It's definitely a hell of a game.

Although I must say that, yes, a Wolfenstein game absolutely has the right to be this good. I don't get this notion that simply because the last game in the series was merely "okay" at the absolutely worst that the entire series is somehow tarnished. People seem to forget that Wolf 3D and RtCW are amazing games.

Yeah, I think the bomb crew gave it a fair shake, but Wolfenstein: The New Order is extra-ordinary.

TNO is the unsung game of 2014

Sad to see people talk about the Wolfenstein series as if it's bad. Unless you just don't dig the name, which would be kind of weird since Wolfenstein is an awesome name!

Maybe it's sarcasm?

My game of the year. Everything was so well done (especially the shooting itself).
