Cataclysm is the third expansion pack to World of Warcraft. This expansion revamped and changed much of the original world content in addition to providing new areas, dungeons, and playable races.
@IBurningStar: I know the feeling, I really do. Back when I was a student and really couldn't afford to buy stuff. I could maybe buy 1 game a month on discount. That's why I started buying collectors editions of games I know I will enjoy as soon as I started working full-time. And if I don't like em anymore, I'll sell 'em. No harm done.
Only got my hands on the last two. I was a slow burner when it came to interest in CE's in general. Which fucking sucks because that collection looks beautiful.
I have them all as well. The three expansions took standing out in the freezing cold leading up to midnight to obtain. I also do not regret any of the purchases made towards the game. However, I do not want to know exactly how much money I've pumped into the game. The empty stacks of time card boxes is a constant reminder that I've spent a lot of money. I really have to throw those in the garbage.

I recently canceled my subscription again. I had a blast playing all the cataclysm content, but now that I've seen just about everything this expansion has to offer, I'm taking a break and playing some other games. The loot lust hasn't quite caught me, especially when 6 months, epics are going to be given out like candy again. I can wait.
Right there with ya. We're missing the WotLK CE's, figure we'll track them down at some point. Also, there are two gaming mice, and we're looking into the Cata mice.
@drgrumbles: Oooh, nice. I like the way you display the game boxes. I got myself a dwarf warrior statuette as well and am planning to get an illidan statuette as well.

We don't have the Wrath CE :( We were taking a break from the game at the time, weren't sure if we were coming back (should have known better), so we didn't get it. We plan on getting a couple copies on ebay or something though to complete the collection.

I understand what you're saying, but don't really mind. Yes, that IS a basement. It's a basement of MY house that I own though, it's not like it's my parents basement that I live in or something. We moved all of the computers in the house there because it's much much cooler during the summer than anywhere else in the house.

I love my WoW mouse. The original ones did have a problem where the paint would wear off and they would shock you. But otherwise, these mice have 15 programmable buttons, and you can link profiles on your mouse to characters ingame so that different toons can do different things with the buttons. Granted, I don't use the profile function. But it's really nice to have some stuff standard on my mouse.
Some pretty hardcore WoW fans here. I don't think I've ever been that big of a fan of a game that I'd spend money on pictures and status because they tend to be ridiculously overpriced. I think the only thing I've collected, other than books, in such a manner are MST3K paraphernalia.
@Sayishere: Dude, I have a SERIOUS backlog. but I don't mind. I call it my retirement plan.:) I now own 950 games, so imagine how many of those I need to finish....

They were hard to come by off the bat. Not enough were released to meet the demand of people that had preordered, let alone people who didn't think about it till later. I was lucky to get two.
to bad you opened that Vanilla collectors edition its going for 5000 dollars unopened also how is the making of dvd in that collectors edition ive been considering buying it off the blizzard store for 10 bucks is it worth it? Honestly I missed out on all these but the only one id truly want is vanilla and wrath vanilla for the rarity wrath because it was my favorite. through to be honest having all of them together just looks beast
I have the vanilla CE, or had rather. During one of my moves I lost it at some point. Or someone could have taken it too I guess.
I stopped playing a good while ago, so I gave up on looking since I stopped caring. I did like the mini Diablo pet though, especially him having the little <Lord of Terror> title.
I skipped on the original and BC since I wasn't sure if the game was going to be around let alone of any significant quality. I am in general not a fan of "feelies" but I can't argue with in game stuff like mounts and pets!
