Man, I just can't do WoW anymore. Gearscore killed that game for me. I had considered jumping back in once Cataclysm hit, but I think I'm already too far out of it.

I wouldn't pin the GS-spam what killed it for me, since I hardly ever pugged anyway and did everything within my Guild. Think it was the fact that playing since launch I just got bored eventually.
That said it'll probably be hard to turn down Cataclysm...but man will I try to stay away.
And, don't know if you knew this, but blogs are possible to make without submitting them to the forums. When you submit them, it's instantly posted, but it isn't actually attached to any forums until you click the particular forum from the above menu. It's misleading, and most people think that they have to click one of those options.

I just started playing WoW a week ago. I'm enjoying it so far, but it is a bit overwhelming whenever you go into a city and see all the chat that makes absolutely no sense to me.
I've avoided Wow... not because I'm above it or anything, just because I know how completely addicted to those things I can get. It's for my own safety.

This. If you don't intend for your blog to be a topic of discussion, and instead intend for it to just be a log of what you do, then it's usually better to not attach it to the forum.
Eh, I don't think I could handle World of Warcraft. Maybe I'm just afraid of the addictive factor overwhelming me, or maybe it's that the game's style just doesn't appeal to me.
I'm thinking of subbing again just to experience it again, but at the same time i've done it many times in the past. I'm hoping Cataclysm changes my current indifference towards MMORPGs.

I'm on the verge of resubbing myself... Albeit, I only recently quit because of money issues, but, I've got enough money to resub and all of the Cata news lately has had me itching to get back in more than I was expecting.
