I'm going to have to go with GZA's verse on Protect Ya Neck. Not only did he kill it after seven Wu-Tang Clan members had finished their verses, but he didn't just talk about how nice he was on the mic or why you shouldn't fuck with him; he actually told a good little story in a few bars.

The Wu is too slammin for these Cold Killin labels
Some ain't had hits since I seen Aunt Mabel
Be doin artists in like Cain did Abel
Now they money's gettin stuck to the gum under the table
That's what ya get when ya misuse what I invent
Your empire falls and ya lose every cent
For tryin to blow up a scrub
Now that thought was just as bright as a 20-watt light bulb
Should of pumped it when I rocked it
Niggaz so stingy they got short arms and deep pockets
This goes on in some companies
With majors they're scared to death to pump these
First of all, who's your A&R
A mountain climber who plays an electric guitar
But he don't know the meaning of dope
When he's lookin for a suit and tie rap
that's cleaner than a bar of soap
And I'm the dirtiest thing in sight
Matter of fact bring out the girls and let's have a mud fight

Damn, that is a hot one.

Mine would have to be GZA's 2nd verse on Clan in Da Front, metaphors to tha fullest

The response while I bomb that ass, "You ain't shit!"
Your wack ass town had you gassed
Egos is somethin the Wu-Tang crush
Souped up niggaz on a stage get rushed
I don't give a god damn, on the shows you did
How many rhymes you got, or who knows you kid?
Cuz I don't know ya therefore show me what you know
I come sharp as a blade and I cut you slow
You become so Pat as my style increases
What's that in your pants ahhh human feces!
Throw your shitty drawers in the hamper
Next time come strapped with a fuckin Pamper
How ya sound B? You're better off a quitter
    I'm on the mound G, and it's a no-hitter
And my DJ the catcher, he's my man
Anyway he's the one who devised the plan
He throws the signs I hook up the beats with clout
I throw the rhymes to the mic and I strike em out
So it really doesn't matter on how you intrigue
You can't FUCK with those in the major leagues

Man, that is such a hard question.  Mine is probably Masta Killa's verse on Da Mystery of Chessboxing

Homicide's illegal and death is the penalty
What justifies the homicide, when he dies?
In his own iniquity it's the
Master of the Mantis Rapture comin at cha
We have an APB on an MC Killer
Looks like the work of a Master
    Evidence indicates that's it's stature
Merciless like a terrorist hard to capture
The flow, changes like a chameleon
Plays like a friend, and stabs you like a dagger
This technique attacks the immune system
Disguised like a lie paralyzin the victim
You scream, as it enters your bloodstream
Erupts your brain from the pain these thoughts contain
Novin on a nigga with the speed of a centipede
and injure - ANY MOTHERFUCKIN CONTENDER

or Inspectah Deck's from Wu Tang Clan 'Aint Nuthin' ta F- With.

I puts the needle to the groove, I gets rude
And I'm forced to fuck it up
Style carries like a pickup truck
Across the clear blue yonder, sea to shining sea
I slam tracks like quarterbacks sacks from LT
Now why try and test the rebel INS?
Blessed since the birth, I earth-slam your vest
I bakes the cake, then take the cake and eat it too
With my crew, we head state to state

But really, how can you choose?  Nearly every verse on that whole god damn album is flawless.

Haha, I didn't say it was easy. But I agree; my favorite verse, track, or line can change from day to day. And that reminds me, why the hell couldn't Masta Killa have gotten another verse on the album?

ah man, trakmastatom, you beat me to it, my favorite verse was masta killas verse in da mystery of chessboxin. apparently his spot on that song was between him and killah priest. masta killa stayed up all night to write that verse, and when priest woke up, it was to MK's lyrics. and if you watch the interview with the RZA on the dragon dynastys colelction of "the 36th chamber of shaolin" he explains that masta killa got his name from this movie (movie is also called master killer) because when he started in the clan, his lyrics werent up to snuff with the rest of the clan, and that he felt like the master killer going through the trials and tribulations of becoming a true MC master.

my other favorite verse is kid zombies choise, this verse is basically spit at 50 cents face even though it came out when 50 cent was still selling his body on the corner for money back in the early 90's. i specifically like how he delivers the human feces line, haha, i gotta yell it everytime it comes on.

so to be original, heres mine, method mans verse from protect ya neck.

It's the Method Man for short Mr. Meth
    Movin on your left, aah!
And set it off, get it off, let it off like a gat
I wanna break full, cock me back
Small change, they puttin shame in the game
I take aim and blow that nigga out the frame
And like Fame!!, my style'll live forever
Niggaz crossin over, but they don't know no better
But I do, true, can I get a "sue"
Nuff respect due to the one-six-ooh
I mean ohh, yo check out the flow
like the Hudson or PCP when I'm dustin
Niggaz off because I'm hot like sauce
The smoke from the lyrical blunt makes me *cough*

mostly for the last line "the smoke from the lyrical blunt make me *cough*" sayin his words hit you so hard you cant help but choke on them, genius.

my favourite verse is from Gza on Bring Da Ruckus

Yo, I'm more rugged than slaveman boots
New recruits, I'm fuckin' up MC troops
I break loops, and trample shit, while I stomp!
A mudhole in that ass, cause I'm straight out the swamp
Creepin up on site, now it's Fright Night
My Wu-Tang slang is mad fuckin' dangerous
And more deadly than the stroke of an axe
    Choppin through ya back *swish*
    Givin bystanders heart-attacks
Niggas try to flip, tell me who is him
I blow up his fuckin prism
Make it a vicious act of terrorism
You wanna bring it, so fuck it
Come on and bring the ruckus
And I provoke niggaz to kick buckets
    I'm wettin CREAM, I ain't wettin fame
Who sellin gain, I'm givin out a deadly game
It's not the Russian it's the Wu-Tang crushin
Roulette, slip up and get fucked like Suzette
    Bring da fuckin ruckus...

Ghostface's opening to the whole album and the first lines you hear

The final verse of The Mystery of Chessboxing by Masta Killa. It was his only verse on the album, yet it was the best of all verses. He was incarcerated during most of the recording. He and Priest Killah were competing to get their verse on the song. Preist fell asleep while Masta stayed up all night writing it.

GZA's verse on Protect Your Neck is a close second.

In before someone says I necrobumped this, Wu Tang is FOREVER.

Remember Wu-Wear. I think CREAM prob my favorite song with Protect ya neck, Nothin to Fuk wit close seconds. Great question. Why not Method Man's verse from Method Man? Just random and stupid lyrics, but the delivery was so on point.

Patty cake patty cake hey the method man

And I don't eat green eggs and ham

    @jduster: You did good.

I don't know that I could choose a verse, though. I did have the entirety of Method Man memorized, which is not something I usually do. The lyrics to that were just real fun.

I need to give that CD a couple of more listens to tell you what I think is my ultimate line to live by from that album, but I dig how one of those guys was all like "I FUCK yo ass up!" in "Shame on a Nigga", along with that sweet Warriors line ODB throws. It just sticks in my mind better than the other songs for some reason. But I know there are tons of better verses from that LP. Chock full of 'em.
