With Pinata 2 and Nuts & Bolts being released for 39.99... is there any other games you know that will get this launch price?

Seems to be more of a family friendly game type deal than being applied for everything.

Usually Rare made first party games launch with a lower price tag.

    PDZ, Kameo launched at 49.99
    Viva and Banjo 39.99
    PGR3 was 49.99 as well.

    Wish more companies followed this

No they won't, they discounted those because they don't feel they're worth the full price. Mainly Viva Pinata, but Banjo because they haven't had a Banjo game in so long, and honestly it seems to be something they just do with Rare's games in general now that I think about it.

A few PC games on Steam are about that though when they have a 10% sale or higher (usually before one is released) :P Left4Dead is only 43 bucks!

Yeah, seems like a Rare trend. That's why Rare is so badass.

Scene-It 2 launched at $40. So pretty much all of the family games always run this price off the bat. Oh, just remembered Monopoly.

I can't think of any....but that lower price tag is really a genius idea.  Think about what the discounted price tag did for NFL 2k5.

I hope racing games start doing this price. Need for Speed for $40 would be awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if Mirror's edge was set a lower price too.

Man, I'm so psyched about Banjo Kazooie!!!  Even if the game is half-assed, it'll be better than most of the shit we see on a weekly basis...and it'll probably have some fun-as-hell achievements!

PGR was Bizzare. I think that that price point was a business move so it wouldn't get passed over as much for Need For Speed.
