So I need to download the Bad company 2 demo, but I used my real age for my account, and I am 17.
 
So I was wondering, if I created another account, then used a 48 hour gold card, would I be able to download the demo, then play it on my normal gamertag?

idk, on ur regular gamertag but u can download it if u put it in so ur 18+. u get a free month of live when u make a new account.

Make a new account and you can download the demo.  I've been using an alt. account for M-rated demos for a while now.

Okay, I did this whole thing, and I asked a friend for a 48 hour trial card, and used it, but it still won't let me download the demo, this is dumb. 
 
I guess I have to buy a month... wow.

This shit is so goddamn annoying. The one time I don't lie about my age and it bites me in the ass. Even though I turned seventeen it still won't let me download M-rated demos. Thanks for that addition, Microsoft.
 
If you haven't made three Live accounts yet then when you make another you'll get one month free of Gold, so that might work if you make an alternate that's above whatever the actual age is.

You don't need to  play that game, it might give you youngsters nightmares.

Well when you sign up an account. Make sure the email you use has a age assigned higher then a mature game. Just create a new gt and then use that email and use fake info and ta-da. And when you asked if you can download it on a second account and play it on your other account. You cant. Unless you signed up a parental email account with your gt that u use normally. Then ther is a process that you have to follow to allow you to do it

All you have to do is be 18 and call Xbox support to promote your account to adult...

Yeah the 48 hour card does not count as gold membership, it is still a silver membership but you can play online.
