Just turned on my xbox and was prompted to install an update. There's a new "Xbox Beta" tab on the dash now, so this seems legit. I wondered if it was something else cause as of updating I hadn't received any kind of email yet. So if you signed up, check your xbox!

How do you sign up?

One thing this update does is corrupt profiles used for non-jtag game shinnanneryjiggerypokeryness.  That's all I know.
