I have the original 20gb HDD but I just purchased the 120gb model off eBay for $96 in preparation. I only have 3 gigs left on my 20gb HDD & I know in the next 3 years I'll be saving a TON more content. How big do you think the rips are going to be anywayz?

If you're going to rip games, which ones? I think I'm going to rip rpg's & anything I play often. Because it's pointless to rip all of your games... I just want speadier load times on my favz & rpgs (cause they're huge).

I only have the 20 GB and I only have 9 gigs left. I do plan on getting the 120 GB version as well. Ripping games seems pretty cool. I will probably do it with the ones I play most.

I have a 20GB Hard Drive, so I won't be ripping games any time soon. Unless of course the drop the price on the bigger drives.

If I could afford the bigger hard drive I would I suppose, but I don't generally think load times are all that bad either.

I'll stick with my 20G HDD, ripping games is somewhat useful but I don't care that much about load times as well as not having the disc spin. I may change my mind in the future, but as of right now 20G is treating me fine.

I'm going to get a 20GB Xbox 360. I'm not going to rip a game until I know how much faster the loading will be. If it's fast then I might buy Halo 2 again or play some online matches.

I'll likely be ripping one at a time since I only have a 20GB and don't plan on buying another HDD for the 360. I think they're very overpriced, at least new. I still have 11GB free on my HDD but I can see the rips being quite large and I plan on buying many XBLA games in the future. I'll need all the space I can get.

I conned someone into getting me a 120gb, so this seems kinda unanimous considering all I'm using it for is ripping all my Judas Priest CDs (Mind you, it's making collecting Agility Orbs on Crackdown much more bearable)

I have a 20, i need to upgrade soon though, I may purchase a 120 gig, but depending on the price of the 60 gig hard drive I may just get that. And I would be ripping GTA4 to the hard drive FOR SURE! Thats the only problem I've had with a game on the 360, it runs so choppy, thats why the PS3 version was better, being able to rip.

I have a 120 but i don't plan on loading anything onto it. I don't get the appeal of it. Back in the days of the N64 load times were alittle sluggish but nowadays if you can't wait 15 seconds for something to load you have bigger problems. And since you still have to put the disk in the tray anyway, the only + is a quieter drive. I don't have an issue with that so why bother.

I'll wait until the 120 gb harddrive prices come down, but the functionality to rip your games to the hard drive and play it off it was a great idea.

Got the 120GB and will probably rip some but not all of my games. Really depends on how much of a toll the install will take on the HD, though it shouldn't be too bad.

120GB here on my Elite.... Will be ripping anything I play full time....

Remember, this isn't just an install, it's a rip of the full disk, unlike the PS3, so space will eat up fast if you rip everything...

Hopefully external storage will be allowed....

At first glance, I thought your title was a sexual pun lol.

I've got the 120GB Elite hard drive.
Probably won't be ripping many games to it though.
Maybe just a few that have horrendous load times.
But for the most part, I think it's a little pointless.  A lot of games, the load times are so short that it doesn't justify the hard drive space being used to rip them, since you still need the disk in the drive to play it.  I'd rather rip all my music CDs and all my friend's music CDs to my hard drive.  To me that's a better use of space.

I have my 360 very close to my TV and often have to play the games with reduced volume since I live in an apartment setup and also usually play games while most are asleep.  Anything to reduce the chainsaw noise of the system is appreciated.  I only have a 20GB hard drive, but really I usually just play one or two games at a time and installing the thing while I go make a sandwich isn't going to be a huge deal.

I think dual-layered DVDs are 8.7 GB each, and at any given time my HDD has about 10-11GB free, so I guess that means I'm going to be doing it one-at-a-time or I buy a 120GB hard drive, which is ridiculously expensive.  No thanks.  I'll just let my games install.

I only have a 20 GB so I probably could only rip one game with the space I have left. I hope that the price for the 60GB HD won't be too hight that way I can get that. I would definitely rip Halo 3 and GEOW 2 if I could.

It's a 20 gigger, but I have, what, 5-8 gigs left?  My PS3 is 40 gigs, and I filled it up fast thanks to installs.  As a result, I'm buying something in the 100-250 gig range replacement HDD (they're 2.5 inch laptop hard drvies, btw).  The 360 is my least favorite platform that I own, so couple that with Microsoft's dumbass pricing for the 360 hard drives I'm unlikely to rip damn near anything.

But given enough hard drive space at a reasonable price I'd rip everything I own.  Loading screens are soooo 2007.

I have a 20gb with only like 3 gigs spare, so buying a 120gb would seem to make sense. However I might as well then buy an Elite for the HDMI and it all gets very complicated from there...
