yo dead serious, if my ps3 broke even once, i would sell it. thats absurd that theres guys on here that had more than 2 xbox360's. i seriously do not understand how anyone like that is still a 360 fanboy.

I'm on my second 360 at the moment. First one got  RRoD about 5 minutes after I put Call of Duty 4 in it =(

Mine has died once, but it wasn't the fabled three red rings of death but just one red ring.
So I  would have had to spend £60 and wait 3 weeks for it to be processed . Instead I just bought one of the new arcades a few weeks back which is cool because I got a HDMI output now but the mat white finish on the disc tray is not so cool.

I am one of those lucky ones who have never had any problems with their Xbox 360.
Had it for 20 months now.

Once. but i put a load of chocolate and crisps and had it back within 2 weeks. No lie.

Once as well and I got mine back within roughly 2 weeks. No delicious bribery required. It wasn't the 3 RRoD though, it was one single flashing red ring so I had to pay about £40 to get it fixed. :(

I have gone through two 360's

3, the first two over a year wouldnt stop freezing, then 3 weeks ago the other one got red ring, the console sucks, but the games are awesome.

2 times, after that i sold it on ebay.

Still on my very first one, allthough it locks up quite a bit lately, suspect it will die off soon.

I just got my first replacement 360 yesterday :D

I am on my third console. My first one lived from August 2006 to April 2007 before the disc drive completely crapped itself. My second one lived from May 2007 to October 2007 when it started mutilated my discs. I've been on my third one since November 2007 and all seems well, except that it makes some weird rattling noises when I turn it on and after I turn it off.

my launch 360 died a few days ago. its on life support (the towel trick) till the coffin gets here

I have an original launch 360 and I've never had a single problem at all, let alone an RRoD. Must be lucky :)

My first 360 is still going strong.

Though I think there is something wrong with the disk tray, my discs get scratched very quickly.

My first 360 I got on launch hasn't broken down at all. No errors or anything either.

I'm on my 3rd right now but have never Red Ringed it's just been some other probloms

2 dead, 1 replaced b/c of cheaper deal: 4th Xbox for me (1st failed within 1 month, second failed after 15 months)

I am on my 2nd.

It red ringed once on me, but all was well after.

Yet to get mine but wondering if mine should die within the warranty years would I need to provide credit card info to get it repaired?

Man, I'm on my 5th.
All different problems.
My first wouldn't read discs out of the box.
2nd had some drive problem where it was tearing up discs.
3rd was an A/V cable problem.
4th was RROD

2 from RROD. 1 from Memory corruption. One of them that had a RROD was an Elite.

Mine died right when Bioshock came out. Thats the main reason i don't own that game.

It's died once. The replacement they sent me RRODs every so often, but all I have to do is turn it off, then back on and it's fine. *shrug*

I'm on my second Xbox, it has been going strong for over a year. The first one died (NHL2K7) within 5-6 months.

I am on # 6 . 3 have RROD and the other 3 had the DVD drive stop working.

It's died on me twice.

I'm very fortunate, mine haven't died once.

My Premium broke because of the disc tray and I have had since launch.  That happened last summer and it was only gone for 2 weeks.  My Elite hasn't broke yet and I've had it for about 7 months.  *Knocks on Wood*

I am currently on my 3rd Xbox 360.  One was a launch one, got it day before Christmas.  Died that day.  Merry Christmas.  Second one wouldn't load after a couple months.  So they sent me number 3 which has worked for now.  This is a ridiculous trend.  They don't deserve our millions of dollars for this.

Had the same problem with original xboxes too.  Went through 3 of them as well. 

Mine died only once, last October. Although I heard a lot of horror stories of long repairs and breaking right when you turn it on, I got it back the next week and haven't had any problems so far.
