Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
How many times has your 360 died?
My launch console lasted 1.5 years then got RROD. Then the new one they sent me had a disc driver error so sent it in later on. Then at xmas i got the E74 trashy error.
Ive owned every system since atari and NES and ps1 and 360 are teh only consoles that have broke on me.
The 360 is an amazing console but the hardware SUCKS and is unacceptable imo. The 360 has the best selection of games, but then also the most unreliable system this gen.
I hope the next xbox system is as reliable as teh first xbox and not as unreliable as teh 360.
60% of people on my friends list have had at least 2 360s die on em, its terrible.
I've had so many Xbox's its unebelieveable. I got my first one the day it came out it lasted forever. Then that died. And it was a disc tray error so I just bought a new one. Then the next two Xbox's I got had dic reading problems. The next one RRoD on me and I sent it in. But I bought another one for Gears of War 2. I then got my RRoD one back in the mail and it had disc reading issues so just sent it back yesturday. The on I bought just RRoD on me. So now im at my friends playing his PS3 and my Ipod Touch to get my gaming fix.
I bought a core unit that already had the three red rings for 50 bucks. The previous owner didn't want to mess with sending it in to Microsoft(kinda stupid, with it being free to send in and all). So, I sent it in to get fixed. Not to long after I received the new I started having to turn the console on and off till it would read the game. Now it's showing two red red lights every once in while.I looked up two red lights, and it means that it is getting to hot. But, when I feel the console it doesn't feel hot at all.
Once (and not from the RROD, my shit just kept freezing up after like 10 mins, but it was fixed for free).
None. My Xbox 360 fixes itself by miracle sometimes. One time I nearly sent it in for repairs after the console just froze whenever I start it up but it magically fixed itself a day later. Might have something to do with my constant fiddlings with the thing, including removing the HDD, accessories and cords and replugging them back in. It's just a little bit more than a year since I purchased my 360 and hopefully it's one of the more reliable models that I've bought.
once. but it didnt red ring. my sister knocked it off the top of our tv and it hit the ground and started screaming and smoking.
I'm on my second. My launch 360 died in August of 2007, right as I put BioShock in for the first time. I also received a beta code for COD4 right around then. Painful wait...
Once...today...E74. Had it for about a year and a half with no issues so I thought it was all good. It's hard to accept that it actually happened. Now just have to wait for Microsoft to fix the problem.
Got my 360 launch day, it broke a year later with RRoD in December 06. Then my second 360 broke Feburary just gone, with E74.
i'm on my 4th 360, the first one just stopped working, wouldn't turn on. the second i put in the burger king game big bumpin' and the video got messed up, then blue screen of death, the third one went crazy, just turned off while i was playing then it kept turning on and off until it had a red ring, i think it commited suicide. now i'm on my fourth, which is nice because it has the HDMI now, none of my previous ones did. I worked at circuit city, so when one died i would open a new one at work and swap them out, so i'm not like super rich and dumb.
