It would have to be really cool for me to pay for it, not like a different colour shirt or anything, but a ninja costume or pirate outfit or something like that I'd consider. Although it'd have to be cheap too. I think 60 MS points would be fair for a complete outfit. Although I can see them charging 200 points for it, which is a complete rip off and I wouldn't pay that much.

I refuse to pay for microtransactions for a feature I never have any intention of using until they bother to actually fix it and make it worth the money.

I'd pay as long as I got a full preview beforehand. The amount of times I paid for a picture pack or some themes and felt incredibly short changed was far too many. And I only bought like 3.

I will not pay for generic stuff.  Maybe if MS did something cool, like allowing an achievement pic to be meshed onto a shirt for a tiny fee.  I'd also be happier if you saw your friends' premium theme behind their respective avatar instead of your own theme.  Yours will still show up on all other pages, of course.

EDIT: I like the costume idea.  Good call.  Gears is perfect because you face isn't hidden anyways.  OOOH!  imagine if your avatar had a costume on depending on which game your playing, instead of that lame box cover art next to you.

The way I see it, is that buying costume packs is no different than paying for gamer pics and themes."

There are certain things that I would buy, yes. and some things I wouldn't. If I deem a certain accessory worthy of purchase, and depending on price. I will buy it.

Like I would totally buy a couple of awesome suits.

Only if it came with a substancial amount of stuff. For instance, I wouldn't pay for just a suit of MJOLNIR armor, but I would pay if it came with a lot armor variants and accessories. If they released a clothing package, it would have to come with more than five items. I'd want a pretty large collection to pay more than 50 MP.

Maybe, it depends on the price, what i get for my money and if i can choose what I do and dont want out of a package for an adjustment in price.

I.E. If a package has 3 hats and 2 shirts i should be able ot get the 2 shirts and 1 hat i want for a price cheaper than the original price.

If not that then they should just bundle it for free with other Downloadable content. like if i download a new map pack for gears i should get some gears style clothing, etc...etc.
