applied update for wave 4, and now xbox hangs at logo screen. remove HDD and main menu appears but freezes. There are no red lights in any situation.
Gave the UK service centre a call , they send it in, but the can not promise that i'll receive a Resident Evil 5 console in return. I'm a little pissed off to say the least. If they do not send an RE console is there some way I can complain? By which I mean recieve a form of compensation?
Just to to clarify, the wave 4 update finished installing when a message appeard claiming that they xbox was not connected to live and that router should be checked.
It was connected and the Network adapter was happily showing its green light.
Repair center can easily just swap your red shell to another motherboard, you (should) always get the same type of motherboard back from repair center. I have read a few times that repair-center messes up and sends a newer motherboard, but thats just being lucky. ( Also phone-support knows only what they read in their papers for better and worse).
