After watching the awful Terminator: Salvation, I stepped into the games store and found this:
I guess machines have to learn how not to overheat and die before thinking about world domination.

Plastic bubble or not, the red rings will arrive.
Also, they should probably replace the labels on that display case. Those games are from winter 2006, and they've all had sequels by now.
Yep, that's what happens when your 360 doesn't get ventilation. I've seen that more than once at my local Toys R' Us. Also, Terminator did suck...so hard!
"@jukezypoo said:" @brukaoru said:Actually it has got good ventilation. "" Why do they enclose consoles in an area with little to no air circulation? That's just asking for something to overheat. -_- "Exactly what I was thinking.... "
The Xbox 360 was never actually invented to be a video game console, the video games thing was just a cunning cover for their real plan. The 360 is disguised as a video game console and when people buy it and bring it into their homes it begins analyzing as much data about its owners and their technology as possible, until it has completed its task and seemingly "brakes", displaying three red lights. At this point the unwitting owner returns the console to Microsoft to have it repaired or replaced, only to have all the information that the machine has collected sold to a hostile alien race who swear to one day conquer Earth and enslave humanity with the data they are accumulating.
" @Mordukai said:No, I did not design that display but I got to disassemble one of them. it's got vents on the back that keep sucking air out and vents on the bottom that keep pumping air in."@jukezypoo said:You designed that Display? I'm quite sure someone does but...does anybody else think the Red Ring of Death sounds like a horrible STD? I don't own a 360 but I understand it's just as bad as an STD.
Just wondering...oh never mind.
I saw a demo Xbox that had Red-Ringed at a Wal-Mart. It was funny enough that I took a low quality photo with my phone.
" @brukaoru said:or how about WHY WOULD MICROSOFT RELEASE SUCH SHITTY HARDWARE SO THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN?" Why do they enclose consoles in an area with little to no air circulation? That's just asking for something to overheat. -_- "Exactly what I was thinking.... "
" @randiolo said:give them time, the new warranty can only last for so long." @ch13696 said:Yeah I understand that. But by the sounds of what everyones saying, it seems like they want to say it. "" Why doesn't everyone just come out and say "well that wouldn't happen to the PS3" "because it wouldnt. some people dont want to admit that. "
