The 360 has very good parental control features.  What do you think?

lols i don't think so. i think that some 360 owners (12 year olds) don't h ave parental controls on. i think if Microsoft does do this then maybe they would sign up to some adult entertainment and get spam for thier email that is connected to thier live account.

Hah, right after Microsoft announces childish giggling little avatars, like they would suddenly announce an adult section in the marketplace full of whacky pornos.  I think they're trying to appeal to a more casual audience right now, like the kiddies and soccer moms.

A console that won't allow AO games isn't going to want adult movies. I don't think that it os appropriate.

There is already a box for this for people too stupid to figure out how to find pornography on the internet, which is a mindblowing kind of stupidity I don't know if I can wrap my head around.

You have the internet for your needs, I don't see why it would want to have an adult content. Plus, MS is trying to get at the casual and hardcore gamers.

Personally I think no it shouldn't and I am sure it never will especially with Microsoft trying to broaden the user base and get more casual players and movie renters and they want the 360 to be a family oriented media experience.It just isn't necessary...they have plenty of movies and if you want porn you can get it elsewhere but I have to say if they did I am sure they would get a nice little return in the form of money because there would be a ton of people who would use it to watch adult movies, too many.

Plus there would be no real way to work around the license issue. When the d/l movies are limited to a 24 hour window it's pointless.
I was reading an article where it talked about all the PPV view adult movies in hotels, and it said the avg time a movie was on in a hotel room was like 12 min.

at first i was gonna say no...but then more parents who would catch this stuff on their kids' 360s would become more aware of the parental control features...then again they'd sue microsoft for their lack of common sense so...

I dont think there should be an adult section. I doubt many parents use the parental controls since there are always outcrys over violence in games. So if parents buy whatever game for their kids regardless of EA rating, they probably aren't taking the time to set up parental controls on the 360.

First of all, parental controls don't mean anything when 99% of parents don't even know how to turn on an 360 and the 360 is made for games and movies. Microsoft wouldn't ruin their reputation by allowing porn to be downloaded off of their console.

Just for the record, I agree there shouldn't be an adult section.  I just wanted to open it up for debate.

If by adult contend you mean Playboy I would say no but stuff like Howard Stern on demand which has some nudity but no actual sex would be fine in my eyes. Also the parental controls are there to stop people from having there children see anything but I doubt this will ever happen
