I use an HDTV.

The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
The screen you use your XBox360 with is
I use a (relatively) large SDTV, but I've noticed some games suck in SDTV like Dead Space to some extent and ninety nine nights, which sucks anyway, I'll probably keep it for a while, but I was feeling curious about what people usually use.
Ty.
PD: I've just realized it is 4:3 and that does matter...
Does res > 1080 mean it can do 1080p? If so yes.
EDIT: '>' means greater and so that doesn't make sense... unless I were to use a 1920x1200 monitor...
Anyway I use a 24" ASUS Full HD monitor for my 360 and for my PC plus a 17" LCD on the side for Steam/Xfire Chat etc.
SDTV in my room. HDTV in our garage. It's not a garage like you think. It's got a pool table and dart board. It's more of a cool game room.
" Anyone that says SDTV in the year 2010 needs to gtfo. I kid. (halfway) "My friend still plays on a CRT. Granted, he has been in a downward spiraling industry and was laid off last year and is starting his own business -- so it's hard to justify the expense of almost any modern TV in those circumstances. But yeah, I am baffled that he uses it for gaming. He played Halo 3 when it came out on that screen. He is one of those "I don't understand HDTV and all that 720 1080p stuff and I don't see what's any better about it than what I have now" people. They drive me nuts!
I use a 23" LG Tv/Monitor. I use it as my pc monitor and i play my consoles there. I'm really happy with it.
I use a cheap 32" HDtv that runs all my games in 576p. I guess that's the native resolution of the TV so I can't do much about it. Still, it's better than having a bulky and blurry SDtv.
I know I shouldn't really complain either since I got the TV for free (won it in a contest), but someday I'll upgrade to something much better.

Most monitors have resolutions greater than that unless you've got a really, really old monitor.
37" Vizio 720p LCD HDTV. I really like it a lot. Obviously not as good as the 47" Sharp AQUOS 1080p LCD we had before, but still really nice.
32" 1080p Sony Bravia in my bedroom. I have a 42" Vizio in my living room, but it's just not nearly as nice.
I've started saving up for one of those new Sharp Aquos LCDs. Those are the shit.
" @ShaunassNZ said:Most? I know there are of those 1200 ones and the 25XX x XXXX ones, but I think the most popular are the 1080p ones." Does res > 1080 mean it can do 1080p? If so yes. 42' Toshiba Regza HDTV. It's a little annoying that I got it JUST before LED tv's came to a reasonably cheap price.
Usually a 52' HDTV, but sometimes we hook it up to a wall-filling projector which is really awesome. Unfortunately, when we do that, the only way to get on the couch is to climb over the back.

" @ShaunassNZ said:No, you were (mostly) right, actually what is more surprising is that nearly 20% of the people are using resolutions over 1080. I was expecting people to mark that option less frequently than SDTV. Basically the point is the resolution people use, I don't care about whether they can watch TV with that device or not, and I don't think that is relevant. So basically that is uncommon but I wanted to give the option." @commandercup said:Woah damn, I didn't even realize that 1080P is ~1920x1080... I guarantee that ALL people who chose PC monitor are using 1080p and not more than 1080p. Sure a few are using a screen with 1200 vertical resolution or higher, but it's still 1920 wide, resulting in 60 rows of blank pixels on the top and bottom as padding.
They just chose C because it's a monitor, not a TV.
Actually the xbox itself can't even display higher than 1080p. Period. Not even 1920x1200 with padding.

Or at least I did, until I got a 32" HDTV when I moved. It's a nice TV but I kinda prefer my monitor, I might switch back
I have a 56" JVC HDTV. Makes for some great gaming, but on the rare occasions I have taken the console to another location, it seems really weird playing in SD on a smaller (and often 4:3) screen.
I use a 19" NEC AccuSync 52VM. It's a pretty decent monitor, and the best part is that it cost me nothing. We were preparing to scrap an outdated desktop I had in my house (ie. move it into my room in case I ever decide to see what is inside it), and I decided to hold onto the monitor. End result was a good flatscreen monitor and a reason to use it. All in all, this pleased me.
I have a 56" samsung older DLP. When and if, I'll replace it with a newer same size DLP or a bit smaller LCD If I didn't have this option, I'd use a PC moniter with the 360 conversion cable. I have a great CRT moniter I used to I love to game on. And an old Sony LCD moniter that I do not use.
SD just would not be an option
