Personally, with all the great titles, I know I can't afford it all. If a game isn't spectacular, I have the luxury of overlooking it. But next year, in the dry spell that sees good games become greats (Bad company and Crackdown come to mind) will you pick up something you may have missed?

 On the spot here, I can't remember the entirety of my post-'08 major titles list, but Too Human is definitely there.  I'll probably end up getting Fallout sometime next year, too.  It's not a game I need immediately.  Like Oblivion, I feel like I'll be able to appreciate it without having to barrel through it.

The new Call of Duty and maybe Spider-Man seem like good choices for next year's sales.

I'm in no rush for Fallout 3 and I expect that Bethesda will make a "Oblivion GOTY Edition" esque package that contains all the DLC sometime in the future.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 finally got a price cut over here so I jumped on that. I can see myself getting Bad Company in early 2009... all the other games I'm interested in seems to be perfect rentals (here you can rent a game for a whole month for 10$).

I would say Fallout 3 and Fable 2. Although I know that I'll probably end up getting them as soon as I can afford them.

If they aren't good enough to pirate on day one, they're not good enough to buy cheap on day 365. I'll pick up RE5 for the usual 99.95.

I will likely pick up a copy of Spider-Man: WoS when it hits the $30 range. That's all I can think of as of right now...

I still need to pick up Lost Planet, it's like £8 now over here, I can't imagine the price of it next year.

I pretty much have everything I want now. All I want now is Prince of Persia, and I'm not waiting to get that.

It really depends on what games I can get my hands on this year. Fallout 3 will have to wait until after I can get all my college stuff squared away, and school starts to ease up.

But overall, plan on possibly getting a PSP and getting the God of War game, Crisis core, Daxter, and some others. Also I might get some other PS2 games I missed out on, or I don't have anymore.

Wanted to get Mass Effect earlier this year, but never did. I don't see myself picking it up anytime this year, but once I'm bored with all the shiny new games I might check it out.

I'm kicking around the idea of buying a PS3 early next year before the BC ones become insanely expensive or rare.  That being said, if Metal Gear Solid and Disgaea 3 come down in price, I'd buy those with it.

As for the rest of the systems, Red Alert 3 is definitely a game I'm interested in, but only when it drops in price.  Same with Smackdown vs. Raw, Rock Band 2, Too Human, Mercenaries 2, and the Lego games.

All of them. I haven't bought a game in three months and I'm not going to for the rest of the year.

Fable 2, and a  360 copy of Left 4 Dead because I need both versions.
