This is interesting and it looks fairly legitimate but I don't 100% believe this, it's certainly the kind of thing that could be faked.

It's not fake. I saw it on their website a few minutes ago. Unless someone hacked their site or a Microsoft employee is having fun with people, this is the real deal.

There was a time, in the years 2006 and 2007, where the Xbox 360 had a varied line-up of exclusives. Now, they're just keep releasing Halo games, Forza games, Fable games an a shitload of Kinect bullshit that no one really cares about (well, if you're a serious gamer anyway).

The problem for Sony is that they have already revealed most of their big games. As I see it, Sony will have the best year but not the best E3.

@Gabriel: Unfortunately, I think you're right. Maybe there's a big surprise out there that no one will see coming, but it's all Nintendo now.

So I guess they're leaking the shit before the conference, so they can surprise us during the conference with stuff that's good.

I'm still a huge Halo fan.. but Halo 4, really? I'm all for the remake for the 10th anniversary, but we really don't need another Halo game so soon. Leave it for the launch of the next Xbox.

I know it's popular to shit on Halo cause, well, it's Halo, but I'm very excited to see what Halo 4 is about. A 343 developed game taking place after the events of 3 is a really exciting proposition that could lead to the drastically-different Halo game a lot of people have been waiting for for some time now.

I pray this is fake because a Halo 4? Really? They couldn't have just left the Chief alone and ended the main story there. I hope its not a direct sequel. What the hell is he going to do now that the war is over? I kinda wish Bungie killed him off.

Either way I am interested in seeing what they hell they do with the franchise from here on content-wise. I'm hoping for Master Chief's Magical Underwater Adventures Starring: Shamu from the future....in space.

According to Gamespot the screenshot of the site originally came from CVG, but a whole bunch of sitesare reporting on it now, including 1UP, Joystiq, Kotaku and Eurogamer. It looks like this is the real deal.

Nobody should be complaining about Halo, especially after we just saw Konami announce another twelve MGS games, Activision bringing out more CoD's and Sony most likely preped to have even more God of War games. Even with two new Halo games coming out, these franchises have all had far more titles released in a smaller time frame.

I fully agree. I still really love the franchise but.. come on. How much could you possible change from the last iteration?

microsoft could get a lot of money from this, that's how much they change.

It took the name "Halo 4" to make me realize how much of a Bungie fanatic/Halo purist I am.
 
I really hope that isn't final. I don't want to see Bungie's legacy be disrespected.
