My rep was demolished once I started playing Gears of War. Opponents will give you bad rep just for winning or if they think your cheating or if your host. Its ridiculous.
I forget how much but I think I lost some rep for bad language or something. I find that odd considering I don't even use a microphone and my bio and all that jazz is pretty inoffensive. Some people are just jerks.
The rep system should be scrapped in the next firmware update. No stars, not visible to users. But still let users avoid one another if they want.
85% positive, 2 ratings for 'unsporting' (got one in Lost Planet a long time ago, and one in VOOT just recently, which is especially laughable because I was using the worst online virtualoid and losing tons), and 1 negative for 'trash talking' during playing SF4 where I NEVER used a mic but kicked TONS of ass.

In my defense they have normally done something to annoiy me like this one time in GTA4 i had a helicopter and this dude said he wanted a ride so i fly over to him for him to get in but he just shoots me, steals my helicopter and laughs. For the next week i joined everyone of his games and hunted him down.
Mine's somewhere around 90 percent. By all means it should be a 100, but I guess peeps just like to give me bad reviews for the hell of it. It's all good.

I'm 70% positive, 30% negative with 66% of those saying my behavior was "unsporting". I only know specifically of one case where I know I got negative rep. It was playing GTA IV online. All of my teammates quit and I was left in something like a 1v5 deathmatch. Since I had no chance of winning going straight up against them so I just ran. After about 20 minutes of chasing me around and not being able to kill me, they all quit, and I'm fairly certain they all probably left me negative rep.
Had my Avoided around 80% during launch thanks to PGR3 and everyone actually giving rep, though mostly bad. Win a close race? Avoided. Slow before a turn? Avoided. Scrape a car? Avoided. Poor rep's never going to recover.
About 55% avoided, 45% preferred. Most of the bad rep went to unsporting, in other words for being either too good in Call of Duty 4 (I was harassed by somebody else after killing them tons or something), terrible in Gears of War 2 and just plain outclassed in Forza Motorsport 2 (ending up last and all). Never went back to Forza Motorsport 2 after most of the races in there aren't even races.
They ought to revamp the rep system, it's pretty much bloody useless. The stars also mean nothing now. Most people have 5 stars and an occasional 3 stars; I've never seen anything below 3.
87% positive, 13 % negative. If I remember right it's for bad lauguage which strikes me as odd because I never even use my microphone, yet alone curse at strangers into it. Fuckers. >:(

I think I'm around 55% preferred. Its such a BS system. I'm unpreferred for things I know I don't do, for example cheating. And it says that your preferred total is made up of people who prefers you (nobody actually leaves positive feedback do they?) or doesn't say anything at all.
All I've noticed is my number go down. I feel like if the people who don't say anything ACTUALLY helped you, all of our numbers would be way higher.
Since we basically only breed winners here at Lansharx, all of our Xbox 360 consoles have horrible rep. Winning is frowned upon by other people, apparently.

exactly the same as me honestly, i am suprised that people even use the rep system though... it is so pointless and wastes time you could be gaming
My rep was fine until HDRemix, because I didnt go online much. But with HDRemix, I would get bad rep, cheating accusations, etc etc just for winning. And my win %age was only like 70%, not even that great, but people are idiots, especially in the casual SF crowd, they have no idea how to play and expect you to do the same, well, on ranked matches? GTFO noob. I'm something like 87% avoided. SFIV did nothing to better my rep, again I win a lot and people do NOT like it.
I haven't checked mine in so long. I remember it being over 90%... I'll have to take another look, if winning causes it to go down then I'm wiling to be the past year playing CoD4 would have brought it down a bit.

LOL I do that too!!! When they start talking a load of shit i say "1vs1 me you pussy" and then i get out my "special" map where he spawns on a crate floating outside the map and i spawn nearby on top of an overshield >:D
That, and i actually legitimately beat a couple of idiots once. They got so upset it was unbelievable. So natrually i had to annoy them more and more and message them screenshots of me teabagging them underneath the scoreboard and telling them to quit halo.
I just feel i need to teach overcompetitive trash talking MLG wannabe idiots a lesson :)
35% Positive 65% negative. Mostly trash talk and unsporting. I don't use a mic unless private chat with friends and I only ever TK by accident. So most of its bull shit.

So, THAT's why my rep went from 100 preferred to 45 preferred once i started playing gears 2. I honestly thought the people on my friends list were messing with me and avoiding me. I have some apologies to make, lol.

The other was unsporting and that only showed up after I called out a dude who had a guest in a Halo 3 match that wasn't moving that he kept on killing (which resulted in him winning - ARRG).
I remember I was playing a game of Team Swat in Halo 3 once with some friends, and the other team was a group of 4 girls that all were in a clan or something. Dude, I annihilated those chicks. I didn't die a single time in that match and got 2 exterminations (which is when you wipe out the whole other team each within like 4 seconds of each other or something). I'm not really a jerk and don't say anything offensive to get me in trouble, but I was pretty stoked about it, and apparently the girls weren't. After that match, I got my only ever negative ratings from them. Oh well.
