Getting my XB1 Friday with Dead Rising & NBA 2K14, having some friends over to check it out on Saturday.. I have never been a fan of Call Of Duty or Battlefield but I know my friends would be so I want to pick one up. I've heard good things about Battlefields online multiplayer but not sure if that's true with the local. Wanted to get your guys opinions on which one would be better for a night of drinking and not being super serious/competitive with some friends? Thanks!

i don't think battlefield or dead rising 3 have local multiplayer.

Call of Duty usually has good co-op missions. There's horde mode also, which seems totally solid.

I haven't bought Ghosts though, nor am I going to at least for a little while at launch. So, I don't really know about it really..

And Dead Rising 3 only has 2-player online co-op. It seems like it'd be good for drinking some, though. A little.

Yeah DR is just for me haha thats why Im looking for more options to go with NBA, thanks for the info on BF I had no idea.

Battlefield is a strictly online affair, no local co-op. However, it's a lot more of a varied experience online than CoD. There's always ridiculous stuff happening in multiplayer, jets crashing into buildings, helicopters chasing you in a boat, stuff like that. Might be fun to watch as a group for awhile.

I imagine Killer Instinct will have better local multiplayer than any other X1 game.

That's a fantastic suggestion. And its dirt cheap. ($20 or $40) GET HYPE! :D
