Wait until the games become cheap and BUY USED. That way you can still play the games and Microsoft and all of these other idiot publishers don't see any income. Don't be fooled into thinking you are supporting the developers. You aren't. BUY USED!

For someone who has been in the industry for 1 year less than I've been alive, surely you'd be less hyperbolic & accept that without publishers receiving income from game sales an awful lot people will lose their jobs, a lot of studios will close? To say that devs don't benefit from game sales is naive to the point of stupidity.

It's not naive it's simple fact. Devs see almost nothing from game sales. Look it up.publishers need to suffer so devs can take over.

"Buy used" as a form of protest is always so dumb. Even if you're not directly funding them you're still supporting the console and supporting their decisions with the console. If you're really so against what they're doing with the console then you shouldn't have anything to do with it all. None of this half-assed internet age boycott bullshit.

@mtcantor: Considering I never ended up buying an Xbox or 360, it seems unlikely that I would be unable to resist buying the XB1. Even moreso the fact that I've never bought a console near launch. But hey, it's always possible.
