The S controller? Or every iteration of the controller since the headphone jack got added?
I noticed that using the headphone jack tended to drain the battery faster, which makes some sense I guess. More recently though I've been playing wired, so it's a non-issue for me. I'd probably look into getting something like Eneloops if I was looking to go back to wireless.
