I think transparent controllers might be the ugliest gaming thing to come out of the late 90s/early 00s.

The only good one is the purple Game Boy Color (which is technically not a controller).

I, on the other hand, love tacky transparent plastic. Might have to grab one.

I dig it, but use the Elite 2 exclusively and already have 2 series X controllers I never use.

It reminds me 100% of the year 2000, and I'm kind of into it

Yeah, I'm old and remember the semi-transparent controllers. It has me somewhat interested. (I'm also someone who preferred the grey controller switch over the colorful model)

I'm a sucker for transparent electronics. I miss spending too much time with my see-through purple Gameboy Color.

@finaldasa: Agreed! Transparent controllers were awesome and it's disappointing that they haven't made a comeback yet.

I thought the Forza Horizon 5 transparent yellow looked really nice but I really dislike all the other color stuff on it - I just don't think I could handle having each trigger be a different color. This 20th Anniversary controller looks really nice though.

I still think the king of transparent controllers of our modern age is probably the piss yellow Death Stranding special edition PS4 pad.
