It seems that Steam is offering some kind of global rewards, if enough people pre-purchase this game.
I'm not sure how to feel about this. I've never pre-purchased a game, always opting on the side of letting the real fans get it first and basing my decision on their reaction. The deal 2K Games presents here is pretty lucrative though. I'll buy XCOM anyway, so why not pay now?
