Overall I think it looks neat, but I'm not sure if people other than diehard fans want this. With new consoles this year, and what they have shown is not of sequel size/importance, this might not be impressive enough for that holiday money.

This currently sits at the top of the list of games that will get some of my holiday money and the only sure buy. No console for me this year. Maybe a graphics card, maybe Watch Dogs and a big maybe to Beyond and Batman: Arkham Origin.

Xcom remains one of the few games this generation that remains interesting past the first few weeks after release.
