I'm pretty far along in the game but my time to play it is tapering off. I'm determined to finish it and see most of the multiplayer content though.

There are options to display the NNID instead. At least I think. There's a lot of stuff in this game and I get lost as to what's what on occasion.

For sure I know that in the player's status screen you can press X to display their NNID instead of their character name.
