XS Games is a publisher of budget video games based in New York City and which sells its products in North America and Europe. They are perhaps most famous for acquiring the PlayStation 2 (Platform) title The Red Star (Game) from Acclaim Entertainment after their bankruptcy, which was essentially completed at that time. They subsequently released it to decent reviews and later ported it to the iPhone and made it available for digital download through the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3 (Platform). XS Games has had no new product releases since 2011 and while their web site is still active, their phone number has been disconnected. It is possible the company is no longer in operation
