    Yamaku High School is a school for disabled children located somewhere in an unnamed location in modern Northern Japan. The school is intended for children with disabilities, but anybody can enrol. However, the school doesn't accept students with mental disabilities. The school is first seen after Hisao Nakai is sent there after coming out of hospital from his heart attack. Many of the photos used ingame for Yamaku are actually of the real life Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
