YHVH is an evil version of the monotheistic God of Judaeo-Christian religion, whose true name is YHWH. His merciless portrayal in Shin Megami Tensei is based on events in the Jewish Torah (Old Testament) and beyond where God either kills humans, such as the great flood, or expresses disappointment in having created mankind.
