    Yoji Shinkawa was born in December 25, 1971 in Hiroshima Japan. He bagan work in Konami as a debuger on Policenauts where he designed early incarnations of Meryl Silverburgh which lead him to work into Metal Gear Solid. Yoji's works consists of character design, mecha design, weapon designs and enemy designs. His art is the main theme of majority of Kojima Productions games, using different techniques, from brush work, pencil to computer he still considers himself a "painter" more than anything.
