    Overview

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a collectible card game developed and published by Konami for PC, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

    Gameplay

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a faithful simulation of the physical Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, using the same set of rules (the current revision of Master Rule). It features over 10,000 cards from the card game, but features its own unique banlist.

    Game Modes

There are two modes of play along with a shop and a deck builder.

    Duel

The Duel mode is where players can go to battle other players online in cross-platform multiplayer. There are three modes of playing online:

    • Ranked Duel - Ranked Duel has players competing in a ranked mode in which wins and losses will raise or lower rank in seasons.
    • Free Duel - Free Duel allows players to host freely duel or spectate others in Duel Rooms without a change in rank. This mode also allows the host to set a number of different options for the duels.
    • Event Duel - Event Duel hosts limited time exhibition events with special limitations and rewards. Some examples are the Xyz Festival, in which only Xyz Monsters are allowed in the Extra Deck, and the N/R Festival, which limits the game to cards with Normal and Rare rarity levels.

    Deck

The deck builder is where players can create decks using cards obtained. Players can also view structure decks and public decklists from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Card Database. Players can create up to 20 decks.

    Solo

Solo mode allows players to play the game against A.I. opponents and practice with pre-made loaner decks. This is also where players can play tutorials and learn about specific card archetypes.

    Shop

The shop is where players can buy packs of cards, structure decks, play accessories such as fields or icons, and battle passes known as Duel Passes. Items are purchased using Gems, which is the game's premium currency.
