An ambitious yakuza who joined the Dojima family along with childhood friend Kazuma Kiryu. He eventually rises through the ranks to become the patriarch of his own Nishikiyama family.
The cruel patriarch of the Shimano Family, a Tojo Clan affiliate, and sworn brother to Sohei Dojima. Futoshi develops a deep grudge against Kazuma Kiryu after Kiryu claims responsibility for Dojima's murder in 1995.
The hot-blooded main protagonist of the Yakuza series. Known as the "Dragon of Dojima" due to the large dragon tattoo on his back, as well as his reputation as one of the most formidable figures within the Dojima Family.
Second Chairman of the Omi Alliance's Go-Ryu Clan. Antagonist of Yakuza 2. He wants to kill Kazuma in order to become the one true "dragon".
