Zoh Daimaoh debuted as an enemy in Madou Monogatari III, and made several appearances in the early Puyo Puyo games. During Puyo matches, Zoh's Puyo cause the screen to shake once they are placed on the field. He is one of the six Madou-era characters to appear in Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversity, but he has not been in a game since.
In Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Spike takes his place; his "screen-shaking" effect is used by Frankly and Dragon Breath. In Kirby's Avalanche he is replaced by Heavy Mole, while his screen-shaking effect is used by final boss King Dedede.
