Ya, I could tell it would not be the best. Also I do not play games with no real SP. Or at least buy them if they are not on super sale. It does look pretty though.

Checking this out is going to make my decision about buying Brink or not.

admittedly on twitter Jeff has admitted he's holding off his review until he's played with some more humans - but this QL doesn't reflect what the game would actually be like, and what I've bought it for... so I'm not too concerned with the negative tone

It's too bad, I had high hopes for this one. Really enjoyed the Return to Castle Wolfenstein stuff these guys did.

I really don't like the look of the HUD.

It's a shame the reviews so far haven't been too positive, and I don't predict higher than a 3/5 from Jeff. I might still check this out sometime down the line, but I get the feeling its online community will either last a long time or die off quickly. We'll see how this goes...

So what Jeff is saying is that the bots are smarter than the human players?Seeing as the humans don't know what to do?I rather have bots then if they are going to revive me.

Damn, got to wait till i get home to watch this.

I wonder if Jeff had problems with all the chatter in Modern Warfare. My guess is this game will get knocked for it while MW did not? Other than that, this game doesn't look good.

Probably will pass this up then...even with people, which isn't an issue for me, the way the game feels (kind of sluggish) and the SMART system isn't as fast moving or game changing as I hoped. The gunplay seems really boring as well...will save my money for other, better things, just buy LA Noire next week.

I don't understand how people can pre-order games with totally unpredictable quality. I could see myself preordering Mass Effect 3, but I would never preorder Brink. And thank god for that.

If BRINK doesn't do good then I would have given up all hope for the FPS genre.At this point where can they really go?I mean you got Halo,Battlefield,GOW,COD etc. what else can you make?More COD, more Battlefield.(which is what they are doing)

Brink seems to have failed in a lot of aspects, the SMART tech is cool and works well, but it had a unique premise which wasn't at all explored because there was a lack of single player. Not to mention the multi player in this game isn't done especially well compared to many other shooters.
