I love whiskey - I personally prefer to drink it neat.

That being said, I don't understand why the fuck it matters if someone else decides to drink their whiskey with a mixer. They are still consuming the liqour in one way or another; it just so happens that they don't have exactly the same taste as I do.

I like to eat steak plain, but I don't freak out when my friends put A-1 on theirs.

Until recently i thought everyone grew up knowing far more about DC and Justice League than the Avengers. The Avengers to me growing up were like D list super heroes that didnt matter at all. X-Men and Spiderman were Marvel and everyone else kinda sucked. Then Batman and Justice League were the top tier super heroes, Mostly because the Animated Series' were sooooooo good when i was ripe for that. I'm not sure how much of this i'm just learning that people know more about Avengers than DC or its just the MCU doing its job and everyone buying super hard into it. I didn't know anyone growing up that liked Iron Man, Hawkeye, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, or Captain America.

@srirachachacha: I feel like because it's a communal thing, it's more of a situational thing? If Dan wanted to know what mixing with that scotch tasted like, I'm all for him trying it. If he thinks it tastes better than mixing with other scotch, I'm all for him continuing. If that's the only scotch and he wants to mix with scotch, go for it. But, if there are other scotches he could mix with and he didn't like it better with the better scotch, then he should mix it with the less expensive scotch.

Although, I'm not about to form an investigatory committee over a forty buck bottle of not my scotch.

This is also the second time today that Jennifer Aniston's role in Leprechaun has come up for me (I was talking earlier about well-known actors getting their start in horror films and treating those roles like dirty secrets, and used her as an example).

Also, Rorie's crazy. Child's Play totally holds up. That scene where the mom finally checks and sees that Chucky's batteries are missing, and Chucky just flips the flying fuck out... absolutely classic.

I'd really like to see a feature in which Jason (Oestreicher, not Voorhees) introduces Dan or Jeff to some horror, Metal Gear Scanlon style, in the form of commentary tracks. I truly think they would get a kick out of some of the more comedic or just plain silly stuff, and I can't imagine either of them doing it without outside influence. Especially Jeff.

But I'd eat a nacho cheese covered hat if Jeff didn't appreciate, say, Leprechaun In The Hood on at least some level.

Holy shit, Jeff. If you happen across this post, hear me out. An evil Irishman steals Stonehenge ("We had a TIME getting it here!") to make Halloween masks that turn the country's children into insects and snakes. Also, there are robots. It's batshit insane, makes zero sense, and I promise you that you will love every second of it. It's the Tokyo Drift of the Halloween franchise.

I remember when mods used to be significant and not "lol I'm shooting cars". That's cool and everything, but the original Half-Life is still the best mod scene in PC gaming history. That being said, nothing I've seen of GTA5 pc makes me want the PC version over my PS4 version outside of maybe the framerate.

Marvel Heroes 2015 is awesome. I still play it and have since beta. I also hope they let me play it on PS4 at some point. Would be nice to be able to play my account on either Ps4 OR PC opposed to one or the other, but that won't happen.

But what's the deal with all the diet sodas? Please tell me you just prefer the taste of the diet versions for some psychotic reason and aren't choosing them as a "healthier" option.

Part of me dies a little inside whenever Dan mixes good things with random soda...but then another part laughs hard enough that I lose my breath. If I wasn't 100% positive that it would kill me (and if it wasn't four grand, I would send in some Laphroaig 40 year.

right now i'm only on diet (and i really shouldn't be doing that either- i can literally feel it tearing up my insides or something), but the weirdest thing is i totally prefer the diet lipton brisk tea to the regular. something about the regular is just too hyper-sugary for my tastes.

after drinking diet soda for a while though you get used to it, and some part of me still craves it even though it's crap so w/e. the caffeine and fizziness maybe? i guess it is hard to explain.

I don't know about the giant bomb guys, but if you're trying to lose weight and want to keep drinking soda, diet soda is really the only option you have. The stuff might have some health hazards, but the zero (or very close anyway) caloric content is a fact. Top tier athletes have been known to drink copious amounts of diet soda and still being able to drop their bodyfat levels to 6-8 % or even less in some cases.
