So Mac or PC?

Mac, for sure.
 
The only PC gaming I do is old stuff  (Starcraft, gog.com) so a dual boot is more than enough for me.

People still play games on PC's? This is what consoles are for, people.

I'd run Linux if I could play games. I find all that tinkering to be fun. Several hours of configuring, testing, blood, sweat and perhaps even some tears - just to get sound working. That's what I call an evening.

My next PC will be a Mac. Definitely.

I like both really, except Apple Computers are quite expensive compared to PC counterparts.

PC all the way. Hardware is half the price, the OS doesn't feel like it is dumbed down for the grandma's that can't understand how to turn on a PC. I think that the dock is annoying. Macintosh finder is still missing half the power-user features of Windows Explorer. OS X lacks the same variety of user created  content windows offers, and whats up with having the menu bar of an application at the top corner of their OS instead of the window the program is running on, like windows. I will admit though, that I prefer some small things with OS X , for example, I prefer Mac's Activity Monitor, and how the OS deals with TCP/IP settings.

PC.  Macs are overpriced especially when you consider that they don't have high end hardware.
