@demoskinos: I think if the grind were a bit better balanced I'd be more into it. I'm not saying your character should be able to overpower everyone (I've actually kept my wrestler's rating in the mid-80s in NXT in order to avoid just trouncing everyone), but when I'm putting on like three and four star losing efforts and only getting like 20-40 SP for my efforts I feel like maybe there's something wrong here?
I've been playing these games for years and don't have much issue winning against the AI in most situations, even with like Zack Ryder or similarly rated characters. But my first 10 or so NXT matches essentially consisted of me attacking and reversing, only to get blasted after a handful of moves or getting stuck in a submission I couldn't break my way out of. That's not much fun.
@assinass: I think I misheard or just didn't process Austin's original question at the time. To answer it more specifically, I like the pace of this game a lot more than Mad Max. I like the activities a lot better than Mad Max. I think Witcher is a much bigger, more interesting world to explore, but that's also a huge RPG versus a more streamlined action game.
@duhvinci: I think you're misinterpreting my comment. In nearly every case, the things these review embargoes cite are simply major plot points they don't want spoiled. It never has anything to do with major game features, or like known issues with said games. Nobody (or at least I hope nobody) would ever agree to an embargo like that.
I saw that video a little while ago. I can't believe Alex would subject himself and his girlfriend to that. It's pretty much sexual abuse. That man is crazier than Japan crazy.
