Maaan, that Sims 2 story is the most tragic thing! Like with Jeff my first thought when the ''corruption'' and its effects were described was of a form of Sims alzheimer's. I don't play The Sims anymore, but when I did I can certainly remember getting attached to the families I created, and to watch them all slowly deteriorate and forget would have no doubt been distressing!
Huh, I remember finding both Turles and Future Gohan to be my favourite characters in Tenkaichi 3, which to this day continues to be the last time I played a DBZ game.
''Did anyone even like The Evil Within?'' Right, because since nobody on their staff liked it then it was clearly a terrible game that was reviled and panned from every direction.
Making a sequel to The Evil Within is a fantastic idea, because it was a great game, but was still bogged down by numerable design flaws (some awful bosses with one-hit kills, undercooked stealth) that can hopefully be cleaned up with a sequel. That, and if they incorporate the enhanced stealth and horror elements from the Juli Kidman DLC, then all the better. Since Tango are also now more experienced with ID Tech (of which the version they worked with wasn't even fully translated into Japanese) then that would hopefully mean The Evil Within won't have the technical issues that the first had. That is they even decided to continue with that engine.
It's not that I care that none of them like TEW, because whatever, it was ultimately a divisive game anyway. The key word being 'divisive', so for him to actually ask if anyone even liked it to begin with, and to also proclaim how ''terrible'' of an idea it is that the series continues, made Jeff seem really out of touch.
