It seems like it was just yesterday when Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was set to release this year on May 26, but that has since changed. Rocksteady Studios Ltd announced that they would be delaying the beleaguered game to February 2024. The game was initially set to release in 2022, but work from home development did not go according to plan and it was moved to May 26, 2023. Then the game's State of Play exhibition happened and the reception of what was shown of the game was so anemic that it was decided to move the game's release to later in 2023. With the announcement that the game's release will be moved to 2024, that makes three delays to hit the game in total, though I might be forgetting one.
When you consider the game was first announced in 2010, teased at the end of Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013, and formally announced in 2020; you have to imagine that something, probably more than once, has gone wrong during the game's development.
